Originally written in 2019, "D.O.G.M.A" was officially released in August of 2023. Following the story of two assassins in a sci-fi setting, the book focuses on topics such as A.I, political abuse, warfare, and human experimentation. The book was initially published under the following description:
C3 and B1 have never questioned where they came from or what they are told to do. Raised to be the personal assassins for the leader of the W.C.O.P, Sasha Alyosha. They have continued their work with no complaints or efforts to even question the man who raised them. After a nuclear war that took place in the 1980's, the world was thrown into an era of chaos. That was until Sasha Alyosha founded the W.C.O.P and began constructing safe zones for those who decided to follow in his path to save humanity from itself and the mutant virus that plagues the planet. His two assassins, B1 and C3 have been raised from birth to protect Sasha and to run missions from behind the scenes to fight off a powerful terrorist organization that is working to dismantle the W.C.O.P. The only thing preventing this world from falling apart is the W.C.O.P. But everything changes when C3 and B1 are sent on a mission involving a massive super mutant, and an experimental set of bodies that they are biologically bound to."
The first in what is slated to be a series of books. The Ashes of Nephil focuses more on the dark and at times whimsical setting that it presents, along with more focused character backgrounds rather than political commentary as D.O.G.M.A had. The book was written to be a far less serious story in comparison to D.O.G.M.A and instead tells a story based around fantasy elements inspired by the table top and DOS games of the 90s - 2000s. Though the story does at times veer into topics and issues surrounding religion, the series will overall retain its focus on the characters and story telling in regards to their fantasy-set world. The book was published under the following description:
"Everything was dark, cold and damp. The medieval realm of Tar is as unforgiving as the dark dungeons of Oona. Rampant with blood curses, witch hunters, blight, monsters, and deceivers. Vanus is left with her companions, Anna, Horghagen, and Salzmann as they are tasked with fulfilling the wishes of a man they hardly know, in order to change the realm forever. This is the beginning of their story as they venture throughout the land of Tar, seeking answers and allies as they are mercilessly hunted down."
An experimental book that was written and edited within the span of 26 hours. The book is short, only consisting of 96 pages and a small handful of illustrations, contrary to the page length and vast illustrations presented in T.A.O.N and D.O.G.M.A. The book was published under the following description:
"The story of an unnamed man who seeks to find the exact point in time that his mind began to slip. To accomplish this, he stalks the corridors of his seemingly endless manor, accompanied by a talking creature only known by the name Jauffrey, the man utilizes his dreams to enter another realm where he may connect the fragments of his scattered memories, all while being hunted by relentless creatures that live within the cracks and shadows of his home."
Current discography
The first album released under A brackish Opportune (band). The entire album was written and performed by E. Giovanni Gonzalez. Consisting of 11 instrumental tracks, the album makes use of different sounds, occasionally changing genre and using unconventional methods of recording. The album is available for purchase through the button below.
Wyrzucac is available on YouTube and for purchase via the buttons below.
The second album released by A Brackish Opportune. The themes and sounds follow the story left off at the end of the first album "Wyrzucac". This time utilizing different sounds and spoken lyrics to better communicate the meaning of each song.
This album also includes the use of different instruments such as a tongue drum and a gusli harp, both of which were used to create unique sounds that would at times contrast the other instruments to better convey a different sense of emotion when lacking lyrics.
The third album and first EP from A Brackish Opportune, dated for release early to mid 2026. The album will be created in collaberation with Elijah Read who was noted for a contribution at the end of the previous album "The Graptolite Still". This EP will take on an almost entirely different sound, mostly consisting of heavier, industrial instrumentals and vocals, along with the exclusion or meager use of acoustic instruments which where heavily featured on the first two LPs.
Despite the shift in sound, this will most likely be the only 'industrial' album from A Brackish Opportune, and the shift in sound will continue onto the second EP, which will be referenced and released in the later half of 2026. The planned third LP will feature the return of the sounds used on the first two LPs and will continue the set themes and light story provided by both The Graptolite Still, and Wyrzucać.
